Paramount Pictures (Viacom CBS)

Fall and Spring of 2021, I worked as a Virtual intern for the National Publicity Department for Viacom CBS/ Paramount Pictures. During these 6 months, I was able to work on publicity campaigns (digital, broadcast, and print) for over 10 movies on their slate. These movies included successful blockbuster titles such as Top Gun Maverick, Sonic 2, Scream, Paw Patrol, The Lost City, Etc.


I worked directly with the head of National Publicity and; Junior and Senior publicists to oversee and design major marketing campaigns

As a result, I created a database and crested research documents highlighting past publicity campaigns (Digital, Broadcast, and Print)


I also spearheaded my own marketing campaign for the Lost City in which many of my ideas were utilized in the actual publicity campaign of the movie.

Throughout my time, I participated in weekly meetings discussing long-lead national press opportunities.


Overall, this experience tightened my marketing skills, built my knowledge of movie campaigns/ award season, and expanded my movie palette. This was also my first fully remote experience which pushed me to learn new ways to stand out and over-perform virtually.
